Sugar Land Regional Airport and its GlobalSelect brand service center have recently been recognized once again among the top operation centers in America.
GlobalSelect is the airport’s Fixed-Based Operator (FBO), which is essentially what makes an airport run. FBOs provide services such as supplying aircraft fuel, catering, flight and airport crews, parking and much more. GlobalSelect is owned and operated by the City of Sugar Land.

Recently, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held for the expansion of Kevin Patton’s Richmond-based State Farm agency and our District 22 Congressman Pete Olson was on hand to assist in the honors.
The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce Alliance also recently recognized Kevin Patton as the businessperson of the year. “Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and the number one employer of Americans,” said Congressman Olson. “I congratulated Kevin Patton on receiving the distinction and honor of the Fort Bend Chamber Alliance’s Business Person of the Year 2010.
