Bowling Tournament to Raise Money for Local Charity

Fort Bend Regional Council on Substance Abuse, Inc. (FBRC) is announcing it’s eighth annual Fort Bend Corporate Challenge bowling tournament to be held on Saturday, May 19. For this year’s tournament, FBRC invites area businesses, organizations and individuals to gather teams and have fun competing against each other for the winning crystal trophy.

The tournament will be held at AMF Stafford Lanes, 4919 South Main, from 12 to 3 p.m. Individual Team Sponsorships start at $500, which includes two games for a four member team and lunch. Corporate Sponsorship levels start at $1,000.

So, whether you have bowled all your life or you plan to roll your first strike, this is a great event for a very important cause.

Proceeds from the Challenge support FBRC’s programs, including Summer Explosion youth camp, Leadership High School, Red Ribbon Week events and other beneficial programs that keep Fort Bend County kids and their families safe and drug-free.

This year’s theme will be the Kentucky Derby, so get your team together and come Bowl for the Roses!
