Methodist Sugar Land Hospital Receives Gold Award

Since 1998 Methodist Sugar Land Hospital has been serving the Richmond community and River Park West residents. They are committed to compassionate and quality care, and are dedicated to fighting and preventing cardiovascular diseases, which affect 80 million (1 in 3) American adults. Recently the hospital was recognized for their outstanding work and commitment to educating the community on cardiovascular diseases through advertising.
In order to reach the community the Methodist Sugar Land Hospital created a TV advertising program with information about cardiovascular disease, as well as what services are available to help treat both cardiac and vascular diseases. For this exemplary advertising work the hospital received a Gold Award by the CardioVascular Advertising Awards (CVAA) - the nation’s premier advertising awards program.
The CVAA was impressed with Methodist Sugar Land Hospital’s program. “It was a privilege to have Methodist Sugar Land Hospital participate in this prestigious awards program,” shared Randy Lucas, CVAA Program Director. “Methodist Sugar Land Hospital exceeded all expectations for quality and excellence in Cardiovascular Communications.” The CVAA recognizes outstanding quality for healthcare marketing in the cardiac and vascular sectors exclusively, so they know what to look for in quality.
Methodist Sugar Land Hospital has been providing quality care that utilizes some of the most leading-edge technology available. All entries to the CVAA were reviewed by a panel of judges who are experts in healthcare. In order to receive an award of recognition the entries had to place above 85% in the scoring process. Awards were issued based on the following scores: Judges Choice: Score of 100% Gold Awards: Score of 95% to 99% (top 5% in the nation) Silver Awards: Score of 90% to 94% (top 12% in the nation) Bronze Awards: Score of 85% to 89% (top 16% in the nation)
