Conveniently located within sight of Highway 59, minutes from River Park West and Cypress Creek Lakes, the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land offers fascinating science exhibitions sure to appeal to all ages. Opened in October 2009, the museum offers a world of discovery, science and adventure.
Wander through the magical world of Narnia and embark on a journey of scientific inquiry at the visiting exhibit, Chronicles of Narnia: The Exhibition or experience the thrill of paleontology first-hand in the Dig Pit. Cast fossils await discovery there, and budding scientists will be delighted to dig for dinosaurs under the watchful gaze of a prehistoric Archelon, the largest sea turtle ever discovered.
Starting this spring, Stan the T. Rex is joined by a variety of paleontological wonders that tell the captivating story of life on Earth during the Cretaceous through extraordinary fossils.
