River Park West and Fort Bend County have a very strong sense of family and community for all ages, exemplified this month by the 3rd Annual Mad Hatter Spring Luncheon & Fashion Show presented by Prime Living Magazine, Friday, May 14, to benefit the Fort Bend “Meals on Wheels” charity. The show and luncheon are from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Red Oak Ballroom, 800 W. Sam Houston North, Houston, 77024, with fashions from JoAnn’s, Jos. A Banks and Pinkie & Black and hair & make-up provided by Salon Eben & Day Spa. Prime Living Magazine is the premier luxury magazine in the Houston area since 2008, catering to readers and advertisers seeking to define “living well”. Their sponsorship of this event is a strong testimony to their dedication to the Houston and Fort Bend communities.
Houston’s local celebrities and community leaders Linda Lorelle and Roseann Rogers are both highlights of the event, with Linda giving the keynote address and Roseann emceeing the fashion show. Proceeds from the exciting show and luncheon will ensure meals to the older citizens of Fort Bend, where “Meals on Wheels” from Fort Bend Seniors serves folks whose average age is 78. And more importantly, ensuring many of these seniors the only regular social interaction they have access to.
Individual and table tickets are available for the show, as well as important charity event sponsorship opportunities. Additional information can be found at Fortbendseniors.org or by contacting Kristin Weiss at 281-633-7057 or kweiss@fortbendseniors.org .
